Location for the Pow Wow Hawaii 2012 Youth Painting Session
I had no idea what I was walking into too. Awed by the colors and creative interaction, I could not stop clicking away. A crazy space with so many different types of street art.
A HUGE mansion housing the Pow Wow artists’ and PR team. Stay tuned for the video of this sick location.
After a chaotic first day for the Pow Wow team, it was time to feed the starving artists’. From Fresh Cafe, we walked over (roughly 30+ people) and literally took over the entire Duck Butt bar.

Kim Chee pancake (A must try!)
I was always a fan of Duck Butt. Duck Butt is a Korean bar isolated from the rest of the world with some simple but amazing dishes. I highly recommend the Kim Chee pancake and deep fried chicken!

After rounding up the 30+ participants, we headed straight to Fresh Cafe / Loft In Space to do the Hawaiian blessing. This kicked off the start off Pow Wow Hawaii 2012. Today included the wall tours, Loft In Space set up and the designation of wall and paint cans.

after moving, i realized that there are so many old treasures hidden in my closet. i pulled this long black dress out and hung it near my computer to remind me to use it soon. today, i decided to wear it with some casual sandals and a oversize see-thru top.
Today’s video blog consist of my life as a tourist. My friend and I both had the day off and decided to drive around the island, eat shrimp, and hustled for a moment. This video may seem long (and I apologize) BUT we had too much fun and had to share with the world.

i could not contain myself. this colorful sock thing trips me out (in a good way.) i thought girls were the only one thinking outside of the norm. this is dope and major props to this kid. the little details and things that count to me… =)
