honored to be a part of the longboardgirlscrew.com blogging team. You can find me under the “we like” section. Going through some of articles, i stumbled upon a cool video with sick frames. i am determined to buy these…
with the new year i felt it was time for a change in location and scenery (plus the added value of cheaper rent!). Opportunity presented itself and i ran with it. six moves over the past eight and a half years and i never once felt inclined to buy furniture outside of the bare essentials. This was all due to the fact that i’ve never resigned myself to living in hawaii forever, and figured that the less i own, then the less i have to deal with when the time to move away arrives. Although, with this most recent move i’ve found myself itching to start buying furniture. The downside to this, is that being a designer i don’t want to settle for cheap and “in the mean time” crap. I want the good stuff and i want it now! Thanks to pesky “no shipping to hawaii” clauses from most of the mainstream furniture retailers, we here in hawaii have slim pickins when it comes to furnishing our dwellings.
below is my “i want now!” list for my bedroom
i want now, item no. 1: desk
i want now, item no. 2: desk chair
i want now, item no. 3: nightstand 1
it want now, item no. 4: nightstand 2
i want now, item no. 5: desk lamp
i want now, item no. 6: dresser lamp
i want now, item no. 7: nightstand lamp
this will be a painfully slow process to completion….ugh
1. men’s leather goods – i want this so badly
2. runway shoe – open toe with classic ferragamo bow – i am def. into the plaid pattern
3. runway shoe – seen on lady gaga. first time ever for a shoe to be made of an exotic (python) THEN stamped with a print such as houndstooth
4. the classic patent leather pump. i want all colors (i have the black one and realized how comfortable these high heels are)
5. oxford type with thick heels
6. booties – fits like a glove and extremely comfortable yet fashionable
7. i always have a thing for driving shoes. i believe there are suede grey ones…i am so on that.
my love for ferragamo has been exposed. I obviously been obsessed with them for years…recently, it has been amplified. such a classic and understated brand that only fashionistas would care about knowing. it is like a lucky strike type-of-brand. once you really know this brand, it honestly is better in quality and style compared to other higher-end brands (truth). this is just my personal take. don’t hate on me.
i had to ask to take this picture. owner of Leilow and the master mind of Stussy was conversing with a friend. while killing time, i stumbled upon his camera and couldn’t take my eyes of it. the wood trimming grip is to die for. i want.

i am addicted to telling time. this watch is pretty dope. if you are wondering, this is a mens watch but i am so into it. the large face normally suits my style. i can’t to those feminine small watches… another reason why i love it… it’s black with dual time!!!
the color red…thick abstract clogs, wide legs (oh yea), leather jacket, dirt wash shorts. looking online is a constant. with just a week til my travels to nyc and dc, i have gotten my eye on certain things/shops.

men’s watch
when i think of watches…i try to imagine myself with a channel j12 or something of that sort, but in all honesty, that look just isn’t me. i’m attracted to bulky and manly watches like this. i always had my eyes on this watch (left) and i promise you one day i will own you (and a rolex). valued at 2600.
current season’s bag. love the color and shape of it. i can definitely see myself wearing this and it would add a bit of color to my collection. i need to stray away from black and mustard yellow is a wonderful start.
speaking of black…i find this bag also interesting, it is smaller than my normal preferred size but it’s a cross body so it is definitely on my “i want” list. i believe it is valued at 1200 but i could be wrong.
men’s high tops
always found high top kicks a bit more sexy and courageous. obviously it isn’t a purchase that i would buy for myself BUT (just saying) a hot look.

i think it is time for me to get myself two new watches. two of my favorite brands together means it’s a must have. oh i have moved on to a different level of love. and this love is limited. no joke brothas.
With the tragic lost of my stolen bag…heartbroken (as mentioned before) but hopeful as always, I came across Rebecca Minkoff. This chick is AMAZING. No kidding. I love all her products from clothing and handbags down to accessories. I will definitely buy these soon before the trip, starting with picture #3 because it was love at first sight and perfect for my travels.
