i listen to this song every now and then. it is so damn good and so true. if people are hatin on you, you must be doing something right or they must be insecure sissys.  yea i said it and what?

Dead-muthaf*cknMAU5

After two years we finally got to see DEADMAU5 live!  Deadmau5 is an EDM (electronic dance music) artist but many people think he is a DJ, and that’s so far from the truth.  He actually writes and produces all of his music, making him an ARTIST (don’t get it twisted).  We got tickets for the October 6 show @ the Roseland Ballroom.  He would go on to play a record breaking 6 concerts which all SOLD OUT.  No other EDM artist has ever done this before, making him one of the GREATS.

Roseland Ballroom & DEADMAU5

There were three opening acts, Sleepy & Boo/ Feed Me/ and Excision.  These three artists are mainly Dubstep (which equals getting fucked through the ears and having it cum in your brain).

Got my MAU5 ears

And then FINALLY! The show began.  Lights everywhere, crowd cheering, and the bass pumpin through our chests.  People lighting up blunts left and right, popping X, teenagers losing their shit.  All the makings of a wonderful show.  It was like running around a giant dancing playground.

At the end it was so worth it. Danced our asses off, went deaf, and fell in love all over again.  We came all the way from Hawaii to NYC to see him. If that ain’t love, idk what is <3 <3

This night was EPIC.

american wedding by frank ocean

a american wedding…it don’t mean too much…

frank ocean – american wedding

after getting off of a long day of work, i had my music on blast. normally, i’d play things on repeat from my playlist. lately, i have been to lazy to reach forward to find music. instead, i decided to be brave and play songs in aphlabetical order. american wedding from frank ocean began playing.

i few months ago, i decided to redo my entire music list. erase everything that i knew of and started from scratch. lose any connections or ties to a song by starting over was very symbolic to me. my awesome friend gave me a disc full of crazy ass good songs and frank ocean was one of them. i only started listening to him now.

american wedding stole my attention for seven minutes and one second… it reminds me of a scene from the movie…of a rugged kid driving from city to city to escape life. franks voice has this calming effect on me but his lyrics are cold and almost harden from the world. i dig it and i feed of it.
