i wore my all saints cardigan for the first time. the cardigan is made of wool, cotton, and cashmere so it kept me warm but a tad thick for hawaii’s weather. still, it was worth the purchase.
i love love my ferragamo flats. it works well with many different pieces and it is my go-to shoe for comfort.

apparently when you crop images, everything its blurred do to the sizing of images. oh well, you get the idea of what i am wearing. pretty basic. shorts and a tank up with an insanely large bag i call my work bag.

i have been dying to get this cardigan for weeks!!! why haven’t i gotten it sooner? i was hoping for an xs size but persuaded to buy the small because it was made to look baggy. it’s obvious why i needed it (yes i needed this)… the patch work just takes me back in the days of professors and shit. a great piece to add to my essential closet. everything just works better when you add a cardigan…my life is dramatically content.

earlier this evening, i attended the italian film festival located at kahala. it was my second time at a film festival but the first time networking for flixscene.com. a week prior to the event, i asked flixscene: “what should i wear?” clueless, i ended up putting together an outfit almost entirely by brandy melville. i didn’t want it be too fancy and i wanted to represent a younger yet mature online film magazine called flixscene. so i did just that.

been craving for a white button up boyfriend top but i wasn’t feeling a lot of styles until i stumbled upon the club monaco top. love the fact that it is basic, sheer and classic. wore a yoga bra with it to dress it down and to add a bit of sas. at last minute, i decided to add my new purchase, the kate spade tights (new fall arrival). much needed to show off the back details for a perfect weekend night out.

shopping, long drives and a stop on the way to grab some honey green tea (less sweet). during my day’s off, i tend to engulf my time with errands and lunch/dinner dates with friends.
lately, with the hot and humid weather, i have been gravitating towards shorts and loose tops for keeping-cool sake. i thank stephanie and henry for the fedora hat and to tammy for the wonderful outfit that i am wearing.

i think i am pretty good at pressing the snooze button in the AM. it is pretty pointless now that i think about it. pressing the snooze button while figuring out what my day outfit will be makes no sense at all. all i know was, i wanted to wear the zara jacket. throwing every single color from purple to greenish/grey wasn’t the plan but fuck it. no one stopped me.
p.s i may be in denial that my hair is too long. don’t judge.

the color scheme isn’t too complicated. shades of brown and a solid black top brings me back to basics. these boots can be worn with anything and completely change up the mood of the entire outfit. i would cop out with them simple heels (maybe next time) but i rather play the boyish route and be comfortable. the cropped loose top is a threat to everything that i own but i finally was able to make it work without it looking as if i trying to hard. i have to admit, this top is my current fav.

in order to make the drawstring shorts work, the top needs to be tucked in. i am sure it could work for someone else but this will do for me. adding on the ferragamo heels made it less casual.. all i need is a cute classy bag and i am good to go.
